Delivery Information                             

As the festive season approaches, we know how important it is to plan your schedule and make the most of this special time of year. To help you stay organised and ensure you can access our services without any surprises, we’ve put together all the key details you need to know about our opening and closing dates, as well as the cut-off times for placing orders. Whether you’re wrapping up last-minute tasks or preparing for the holiday break, read on to find out everything you need to plan ahead.

Monday 23rd December 2024

Last chance to get your order before Christmas. Orders today will be dispatched for delivery on Tuesday 24th December as long as you select next day delivery when checking out.

Tuesday 24th December 2024

Orders placed before 3pm will be dispatched for delivery on Friday 27th December (orders for locksmith work must be placed before 12pm).

Thursday 2nd January 2025

Normal service resumes (5pm cut-off). Orders placed before 5pm will be dispatched same day.

PLEASE NOTE:

Orders placed on our website and mobile app between Wednesday 25th December and Wednesday 1st January will be despatched on Thursday 2nd January.

Delivery Charges

All delivery charges included on this website are for within mainland UK only. However certain postcodes are considered geographic extremities (Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, Scilly Islands, some areas of Scotland).

Please see the table below for our delivery rates. All available delivery options will appear within a drop down list when checking out. Please be aware the below rates do not apply to some items such as Safes. These delivery costs are listed below this table.

  • Item weight is 20Kg - 45Kg.     Delivery cost will be £60 Plus VAT
  • Item weight is 46Kg - 70Kg.     Delivery cost will be £60 Plus VAT
  • Item weight is 71Kg - 100Kg.    Delivery cost will be £67.10 Plus VAT

2-3 Day Tracked Delivery

This service is available to the UK mainland only. Tracking information can be provided upon request. Email us for tracking number.

Please note this delivery service is not available on items that have a height or length of more than 400mm.

Next Working Day Delivery Service

We guarantee to process all online orders who have selected this service the same day if received before 5pm (if ordering by telephone the cut off is 4pm) and we aim to have all orders delivered the next working day. This service is available to the UK mainland only and not guaranteed.

Please note if your order has been customised (features extra keys or has been master keyed or keyed alike) please be aware there may be delays to your order. If the order is urgent please contact us before purchase.

Please note some products are not applicable for next day service. If there is a next day service available it will be listed with the delivery options available. 

Currently we are unable to deliver to the Republic of Ireland. Please note this is under constant review.

*Please note on any orders received after 4pm which require extra keys or keying alike cannot be guaranteed for next working day delivery. 
**Products from Mul-T-Lock, Kasp, selected Abus security cameras & bike locks and our safes are exempt from our next working day delivery service. 
***If your order is placed on a Bank Holiday we will process your order the next working day for dispatch the next working day after that. 

Key Cutting Service Delivery

Where Lock Shop Direct require the original key or high security key cards the new cut key will be issued for next day delivery upon receipt of requested key or card from the customer.  

For products within this category that are eligible for next day delivery it will be stated on the product details page. Those eligible, we guarantee to process within the same day if received before 12pm and we recommend you select our next working day Pre 12 delivery service. This means the key will be sent out via recorded delivery for additional security. For further information please see our terms and conditions

If Saturday delivery is required please call or email us and we will try an accommodate this for you. 

  • This service is not guaranteed however we aim to process all orders for Saturday if received before 5pm on Friday of that week (if ordering by telephone the cut off is 4pm).
  • If delivery is made but you are not in to sign for the delivery then we will reschedule for the next working day but the delivery cost will not be refunded.

 

Out Of Stock/Pre Ordering

All our products have live stock amounts displayed so you can see exactly how many items are in stock. However if you require a product which is out of stock please click the email me when back in stock button and the system will email you when the stock has been updated.

If you require more items than are currently in stock please call us on 0330 174 0851 and our sales team might be able to source the extra items for you. 

Tracking An Order

You can track your order by sending us an email to info@lockshopdirect.co.uk and we'll provide the tracking number for your order.

Returns

  • If you would like to return a item to Lock Shop Direct, please follow the process listed below:
  • If you would like to return an item, you must firstly read Section 15 in our Terms and Conditions. Then please either email us at returns@lockshopdirect.co.uk or call our customer services line on 0330 174 0851 and request a customer returns number.
  • All Goods must be in same condition as when received and must be within 14 working days of recipient of goods. 
  • Please allow up to 28 days to receive your refund.
  • If the product you purchase is faulty, we may offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with our terms and conditions, please either email us or call our customer services line on 0330 174 0851 and request a customer returns number.
