This Asgard replacement gearbox is sometimes branded Yale and is available in 35mm and 45mm backsets. They are a direct fit for the old Yale Asgard 7025, 7026, and 7035 multipoint door locks.
Original versions of this gearbox may feature a white plastic insert which was used to hold the latch in place. These gearboxes are not supplied with the insert, which is not required for the proper function of the lock. Yale stopped using this facility on their locks.
Accado Style gearboxes measure 212mm high by the backset + 15mm wide. The hookbolt is 27mm high, the latch is 27mm high and there is 60mm between the bottom of the latch and the top of the hook.
These gearboxes attach to the faceplate with 3 screws. The top screw measures 90mm to the middle, which measures 60mm to the bottom screw.
Operation: Lift lever or double spindle
Latch reversal: Undo the screw in the latch to remove it. Reverse and reinsert then replace the screw.
