Rim mounted sash and dead locks are often used on solid doors and gates to provide convenient security without the need to mortice out an aperture from the door material. Fixed directly to the surface, on the inside of the door, these locks are a popular option particularly in Victorian style domestic properties.
The Union 1439 Rim Sashlock is a very popular large case Rim Lock found throughout the UK. A basic security surface mounted product often found in residential or light commercial environments. Identified by the case dimensions and the offset heights of the keyway and spindle. The 2 extended length keys provided will reach through the thickness of the door from the outside. The 1439 features Antique style construction and rustic styling.
For use with Rim knob furniture. The knob controls the latch, and the key operates dead bolt from both sides of the door.
Available in black with electro brass features. supplied with staple and 2 keys. Handing must be selected when ordering.
