This TSS Front Door Combo Nightlatch and Mortice Deadlock kit consists of a TSS British Standard BS3621:2007 5 lever mortice dead lock in 3" case size and a Modern Deadlocking Nightlatch witha 60mm backset. This combination allows for a complete solution for many typical residential front doors.
The TSS modern nightlatch represents a cost effective soltion for applications requireing a modern lock and standard level of security. The deisgn reflects that of the most popular nightlatches on the market and the modern look is suitable for a wide range of properties.
This is a deadlocking nightlatch and offers the ability to use the key from the outside to deadlock the door once shut. When deadlocked, the internal handle will not operate. This offers additional security from intruders who may attempt to manipulate the inside handle via the letterbox, or through open or broken windows. This nightlatch also features a means of mechanical holdback which allows the sprung latch bolt to be physically retained within the body of the nightlatch.
The TSS British Standard BS3621:2007 5 lever mortice, features an Anti-Drill hardened plate, which makes it robust and provides additional protection against attack. The deadbolt features hardened anti-saw rollers to provide a higher level of security. Supplied boxed with 3 keys and two keyhole escutcheons.
