Fire extinguishers

One of the most common fire safety devices available to purchase at LockShop Direct is the handheld fire extinguisher.

We supply the Kidde fire extinguisher which is designed to contain small fires in homes, preventing them from spreading and becoming out of control.

Fire blankets

Fires that are fuelled by cooking oils and fats are ‘Class F’ fires and tend to break out in kitchens. A fire blanket is used to combat small fires, like stovetop fires, smothering the flames in the early stages.

Carbon monoxide alarms

The Kidde 5CO alarm can prevent headaches, sickness and tiredness (signs of CO poisoning) and incorporates a multi-stage indicator warning system that will alert you to threats as soon as they arise.

Fire and smoke seal

The Exitex Intumescent fire and smoke seal is designed to prevent the spread of fires. Our seal is contained in a PVC sleeve and is used for door assemblies.

The seal expands when a fire starts and seals the gap around the door - preventing smoke travelling from one room to the next.
