The Schlage 855156 concealed shackle padlock
is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a high-performance padlock
to suit medium to high-risk environments. This Kryptonite style
shackleless round padlock has a solid stainless steel body for maximum
protection and comes in a nickel-chrome finish. The shackleless padlock
is best used with the Schlage or Kryptonite 855101 hasps (sold
separately). But that’s not all. It’s perfect for use on commercial
vans, trucks and trailers – providing you with the peace of mind that
the tools and other goods stored inside are safe and secure.
Other concealed shackle padlocks are available, including the Union C-Series 1K57 Hercules padlock
which too has a hardened steel body with a hidden sliding shackle.
Though it costs more than the one from Schlage, it offers a host of
great features, such as key withdrawal only when locked and protection
against drill attack. You can use this with Chubb 7B018 and 7B020
padbars.
